This mud guard bolts straight onto all Fox 38 forks, and all 2021-2025 Fox 36 forks with the bleeder valves. This highly durable and beautiful piece of plastic will keep mud off your face and out of your eyes better than most.

Which models of Fox forks is this fender compatible with?

This model of Fox Mud Guard is compatible with all models of 2021-2025 Fox 36 forks and all Fox 38 forks that have bleeder valves. It is not compatible with any models of the Fox 36 Rhythm. This is also absolutely not compatible with 2020 or older models of Fox 36, and there are no possible ways to adapt it to work.

How do I install this fender on my Fox 36 or 38?

This fender requires that you remove your lower leg pressure relief bleeder valves, or plug bolts for Performance Series forks, because 2 of the fender mounts are placed underneath them.

For Factory or Performance Elite forks, remove your valves with a 13mm socket. For Performance Series forks, remove your plugs with a 5mm allen wrench.
Next, completely remove the spacer underneath the valve (or plug bolt) so that the fender can replace where the spacer was. You will then reinstall everything and torque the valve/plug bolt to 45 in-lb (5.0 Nm).
Finally, thread the (2) included small screws through the fender's upper mounting holes and into the fork's arch using a 2.5mm allen wrench. Tighten to 4.5 in-lb (0.5 Nm).

***Be sure to perform this installation with the fork positioned either face down or upright. If you attempt to remove the valves/plugs with the fork upside down or tilted upward, you wil lose oil from your fork's lower legs.***
