Mountain bike handlebars potentially have the most simple job of any component. There's no moving parts, no threads, and only one material used. That doesn't mean they're all created equal, with each handlebar here touting very different riding characteristics, whether that be from their geometry or their construction method. A comfortable handlebar will make a world of difference, and these are our favorites!
OneUp changed the game when they came out with the Carbon Handlebar, with compliance at the front of the engineers' brains during the design process. Check out our review to learn more!
Renthal is a common sight on the front of many racers' bikes, and for good reason. The Renthal FatBar is incredibly stiff and responsive to steering inputs, making for a great enthusiast handlebar, but might be too stiff for newer riders.
Deity makes a wide range of handlebars in both aluminum and carbon, 35 and 31.8mm, and just about every color under the sun. Deity is in contention for the "coolest mountain bike brand" award, so if that's important to you, then you're going to love a new set of Speedway handlebars.
