There are plenty of details to consider when choosing between Fox's two Trail/Enduro forks. Among the most important are your weight, the intended application of the fork, and the travel you require. In a nutshell if you're running over 160mm of travel or are a heavier or more aggressive rider, the 38 is your fork. However if you're running under 160mm or are a lighter or less aggressive rider, the 36 might be the best bet! In the end it will come down to preference for the 150-160 crowd, but above that we truly believe that the added stiffness and performance of the 38 will be worth every ounce of additional weight!
