What's New?

Last year Fox shook up the enduro world with the release of their all-new Fox 38. This year is no different but Fox has their sights firmly set on the trail genre, releasing two very promising new shocks- the Float X and DHX respectively as well as a full, ground-up revision of the 34. Read on to learn more about these exciting new additions to their line-up!

but first, a video of Eliot Jackson rippin' on the new 34...

All-New Fox Float X

It's no secret that we at The Lost Co are huge fans of the Fox Float X2. For the 2022 season Fox has answered all of our wishes with the release of what is essentially a lightweight, scaled down X2 for your trail bike! Here's what Fox has to say:

"Designed Specifically to meet the demands of aggressive trail riders, the new Fox Float X combines sophisticated damping and fade-free performance with incredible light weight and outstanding structural integrity."

Boiled down, this means that Fox has released a true modern trail shock that is equally at home on an enduro bike as it is on a 130mm trail sled. The introduction of a similar independent lockout to that seen on the Float X2 and DHX2 promises unhindered performance in both directions. In combination with a new high-flow piston, 12-position low-speed compression dial, wider range of rebound adjustment, and smaller incremented volume spacers, this shock is bound to be buttery smooth in a very wide range of trails, bikes, and riders.

All-New Fox DHX

Taking queues from both the DHX2 and Float X, the DHX2 packs downhill performance into a trail-bike shock. An all-new chassis to the Fox lineup, the all-new Fox DHX is basically at its purest form an ultra-plush, set-and-forget shock that will suit a huge array of riders. Here's what Fox has to say:

"Answering the call of riders seeking the ultimate in plush suspension, the new DHX brings coil-sprung, magic-carpet, trail smoothing performance in a wide range of configurations to the trails and beyond."

This new coil option from Fox compliments the DHX2 within Fox's lineup by offering a truly set-and-forget shock much like the Bomber CR from Marzocchi with the added addition of an independent lockout that firms things up for longer pedals. If you're looking to dip your toes into the world of coil-sprung suspension and need a lockout, the DHX could just be your best option!

All-New Fox 34

The 34 has long been one of the most popular trail forks on the market and it just got a whole hell of a lot better. The all-new Fox 34 is more aggressive and capable than ever before, making it the perfect contender for the modern trail bike! Matching this sentiment, Fox says:

"Smoother, lighter, more tunable, and more capable than ever before; when it comes to a do-it-all trail fork the 34 is in a class of its own."

If you think it bears a striking resemblance to the 36 and 38, you're exactly right. The 34 runs on an all-new chassis that's architecturally very similar to that of its bigger siblings. The new 34 features air and oil channels in the lower legs, a new arch shape that offers improved headtube clearance with shorter rakes, a new 58mm diameter crown, and an updated EVOL air spring. There's also a stepcast version that's the lightest 34 ever and would be friggin' dialed on a light-weight downcountry shred machine! Prioritizing weight in addition to performance, we think the new 34 strikes an awesome balance between astonishingly light weight and hard-charging trail manners that will make it an instant classic in the Fox lineup.
