The latest generation of Ohlins springs combines race-ready weights with big mountain strength. Cutting edge heat treatments and advanced materials enables Ohlins to stress their spring coils harder without damage, meaning they can build stronger and lighter springs than before.
Choosing your spring:
The stroke of the spring is the amount the spring will compress before binding. To ensure compatibility, the spring stroke must be greater than or equal to your shock's stroke. But if you get a spring too long, it will not fit on your shock body. As a rule of thumb, get the spring with shortest stroke that is at least as long as your shock's stroke.
